Nourhan holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC), alongside specialized diplomas in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Center of Excellence in Manchester, UK, and Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Psychological Studies. Throughout her career, Nourhan has accumulated a wealth of practical experience, including internships with Dr. Donia Fahim, a renowned speech and language therapist and educational consultant in Play-Based Learning, as well as a three-month training at Al-Mashfa Hospital. Following her training, she worked at Al-Mashfa as both an inpatient and outpatient psychologist, where she conducted individual therapy sessions, family counseling, group therapy, and psychological assessments. Nourhan worked with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing various mental health concerns such as personality disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, addiction, self-esteem issues, and relationship challenges. Nourhan specializes in working with adolescents and adults facing difficulties related to personality and mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, as well as anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, OCD, and social anxiety. She also supports adolescents seeking to improve their overall quality of life, particularly in areas where they are struggling with unhealthy patterns or habits, helping them create a healthier, more balanced life. Nourhan adopts an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, humanistic psychology, and positive psychology. This flexible, tailored approach allows her to meet the individual needs of her clients and adapt to their specific goals and challenges. Nourhan is committed to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for her clients, fostering trust and a collaborative therapeutic relationship that encourages personal growth and healing. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, offering therapy sessions in both languages to ensure comfort and ease for all clients.
