Therapist
Nourhan graduated with highest honors from the American University in Cairo where she double majored in Psychology and Media Arts. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Sciences from University College London in the United Kingdom.

Nourhan is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has recently been granted the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) from the BPS. Additionally, she is a certified member of the International Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi).

Her work experience includes roles in both Egypt and the UK, encompassing training in inpatient and outpatient settings across private and public sectors. Throughout her training, Nourhan has gained experience working with a wide variety of age groups. Currently, her work focuses on adolescent mental health, as well as supporting individuals in emerging and prime adulthood.

Her work experience and trainings included a focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and trauma; She has also addressed issues related to anger management, maladjustment, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, stress, and emotional regulation, among others.

She adopts an eclectic approach where she draws on elements of different therapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Nourhan believes in providing a holistic, client-centered approach, guided by each person’s specific needs. She has experience working in multi-cultural settings and with diverse communities from different backgrounds as well as neurodiverse individuals and can conduct sessions in both English and Arabic.
