Remaz earned her undergraduate in Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC), where she graduated with highest honors. She further advanced her education at AUC, earning a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Currently, Remaz serves as an Assistant Lecturer in Psychology at Coventry University – The Knowledge Hub Universities.
While pursuing her Master’s, Remaz trained at the Psychological Counseling Services and Training Center at AUC, as well as other counseling centers and psychiatric hospitals. She conducts therapy sessions in both English and Arabic, specializing in working with emerging adults and adults facing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjustment problems, identity exploration, and interpersonal difficulties. Additionally, Remaz delivered a variety of workshops and webinars on topics such as burnout, procrastination, and anger management.
Remaz adopts an integrative approach that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, primarily utilizing a Person-Centered approach. Her goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can fully express themselves without judgment. Remaz believes that therapy is a collaborative journey not about one person having all the answers but rather a process of working together to navigate and understand the complexities of life.
